Tengify only stores what it needs to work. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers on tengify.com. We do measure how the builder is used and how many visits published sites get, but that happens on our server — it stores nothing on your device, which is why it is not listed below.
1. What we store on your device
Sign-in session — stored in your browser's local storage by our authentication provider so you stay signed in between visits. Removing it signs you out. Kept until you sign out or it expires.
Language (tgy_lang cookie and a matching local storage entry) — remembers the language you picked so the page is already translated when it loads. Kept for one year.
Theme — remembers whether you chose the light or dark interface. Kept until you clear it.
Editor preferences — small settings such as whether autosave is on. Kept until you clear them.
Temporary handoff — when you type a prompt on the AI page before signing in, it is held briefly so the wizard can open with it afterwards. Deleted as soon as it is used.
All of the above are strictly necessary or explicitly chosen by you, which is why they do not require consent under the GDPR or the LGPD. We still list them here so you know exactly what is stored.
2. What we do not use
No advertising or retargeting cookies. No analytics or audience-measurement scripts. No social network pixels. We do not build profiles of your behaviour and we do not share device data with advertisers.
Our own usage and visit statistics need none of this: they are recorded server-side, and a visitor is counted through a salted one-way hash of IP and browser that is scoped to a single site and a single day, so it cannot be reversed or used to follow anyone. The Privacy Policy describes it in full.
3. Third-party requests
Some pages load resources from other providers, which may set their own storage under their policies: Google Fonts for typefaces, Pexels for stock photos, and the services you connect yourself (GitHub, Vercel, Figma, AI providers). We do not control what those providers store.
4. How to control it
You can delete cookies and local storage for tengify.com in your browser settings, or block them entirely. Because the items above are essential, blocking them will sign you out and reset your preferences, and parts of the editor may stop working.
5. Sites built with Tengify
Sites you publish with Tengify carry no cookie, script or tracker added by us. We do count page views on them for our own statistics, but that count happens on our server as the page is served: nothing is written to your visitor's device and nothing can identify them, so it adds no consent obligation for you.
If you add analytics, embeds or custom scripts to your own site, you are responsible for the cookie notice and consent that your visitors are entitled to.
