Terms and Conditions

Tengify lets you build web pages visually, import layouts from Figma files, images, links or HTML, generate content with AI, publish sites on a Tengify address or your own domain, and export the result as code or send it to GitHub, Vercel and other platforms.

We improve and change the product continuously. Features may be added, modified or discontinued; we will give reasonable notice before removing something you depend on.

You must be at least 16 years old — or the minimum age of digital consent in your country — and provide a valid email address.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

One person or organisation per account, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You keep all rights to the pages, text, images, code and everything else you create or upload. We claim no ownership over it.

You grant us a limited licence to store, process, reproduce and display your content strictly to operate the service for you — for example to render the editor, publish your site, run an export, or send content to an AI provider when you trigger an AI feature. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

The code Tengify generates from your project is yours to use however you want, including commercially, with no attribution required.

Tengify can import designs and pages from Figma, images, public URLs and pasted HTML. The AI site wizard reads the same kinds of material: addresses you paste, text, documents, images and videos. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you import or hand to the wizard, including a site, a profile or a video that is not yours.

Do not use the import features to copy sites, designs, fonts, photos or code you have no licence to use, to circumvent technical protections, or in a way that violates the terms of the source.

Stock photos suggested through Pexels are subject to the Pexels licence.

You may not use Tengify to:

publish or store illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights;

distribute malware, phishing pages, or anything designed to deceive or harm visitors;

impersonate a person or organisation, including through cloned sites and fake login pages;

send spam, or collect personal data through published sites without a lawful basis and a privacy notice of your own;

attack, overload or probe the platform or its providers, or bypass usage limits, rate limits or access controls;

resell the service as your own without a written agreement with us.

We may suspend or remove content and accounts that break these rules, and we will tell you why whenever we can.

You are the publisher of everything you put online with Tengify, and responsible for complying with the law where your visitors are — including your own privacy notice and cookie disclosure when your site collects data or sets cookies.

When your site collects form submissions, we store them for you as your processor and you remain the controller of that data.

Custom domains stay yours: you keep control of the DNS and can move the site elsewhere at any time.

When you connect GitHub, Vercel or Figma, or configure your own AI provider key, you authorise us to act on those services on your behalf for the operations you request. Your use of those services remains governed by their own terms, and any charges they bill you are yours.

You can disconnect any integration at any time from your account page, which deletes the stored token.

AI-generated layouts, copy and edits are produced by third-party models and can be wrong, biased or unsuitable for your purpose. Review the output before publishing — you are responsible for what you put online.

The same applies to the fact sheet the site wizard builds from the material you provide: it can misread a document, and where the material says nothing it fills the gap and marks the item as an assumption. Check the facts — prices, hours, contact, what you actually offer — before your site goes live.

We do not guarantee that generated content is unique, and identical prompts may produce similar results for different users.

When you use the built-in AI, requests may be subject to fair-use limits so the feature remains available to everyone.

Parts of the service may be offered free of charge and others under a paid plan. The prices, limits and billing cycle in force are those shown at the moment you subscribe.

Payments are handled by Stripe on its own pages. A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in force, until you cancel it — which you can do at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops the next charge; your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and we do not refund the part you did not use.

If you are a consumer in Brazil, you may withdraw from the purchase within 7 days of subscribing and receive a full refund, under article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code.

If we introduce charges for something that is free today, we will announce it in advance and you will be able to decline before being billed.

You can stop using Tengify and ask us to delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that creates a security or legal risk, or where required by law. Except in serious cases, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your projects.

The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet a specific requirement of yours.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost data or lost business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event, or to a reasonable equivalent where the service was used free of charge.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

You agree to hold us harmless from claims by third parties arising out of content you publish through Tengify or material you imported without the necessary rights.

We may update these terms. The date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes are announced in advance. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the protections of the consumer law of your country of residence.
